The Designer

Kim Bernardin, Hailing from Seoul, South Korea,, made a remarkable start to her fashion career in Paris at the Musee Cognac-Jay in March of 1995. Kim draws her imagination from a mix of cultures, materials and colors. Her collections are filles with poetry. With a little magique, She reveals the feminine silhouettes, slender and flexible, materials associated with flowers through games of transparency, in a spirit of nature and fantasy. An expression of freedom emerges from her creations, while having no restrictions is always her motto. The designer, who has traveled extensively, is continually inspired by the colors and traditions of the countries of which she has traveled. With particular interest in Eastern and Western styles she strategically integrates the fabrics and cuts of different cultures to achieve a clean look in her garments. Like herself her clientele is also international and multicultural. Kim inaugurated in 2004 her boutique at 20 Rue des Saints-Peres in Saint-Germain-des-Pres in Paris and plans to soon open a second shop in Paris. Currently, her clientele is primarily in the United States,Canada, Europe, Middle East (Beirut,Cairo,Kuwait, Jeddah and Riyad) and also in Hong Kong
